Isn't it good to have lives full of glorious Made in Chelsea sunshine, brunches at the Bluebird and arched eyebrows – at least for an hour every week?

While we could only dream of owning a Range Rover and heading to a country house for the weekend, it's all in a day's work for the Chelsea-ites. But which one of them is the poshest? Using a very scientific formula based on accent, inheritance, name and innate poshness, we tried to figure it out while watching the latest series:

32. Melissa Tattam

Estimated net worth: Unknown

🙃

A post shared by Melissa (@melissatattam) on Oct 3, 2017 at 10:16am PDT

Melissa is the newest cast member to join Made in Chelsea, having made her debut in the first episode of series 15. However, viewers may have already recognised her when she appeared on-screen as Harry Baron's girlfriend, as she is the face of her luxury swimwear range Melissa Jay.

The reality newbie launched the range herself back in 2016 while she was living in Mallorca and struggled to find a bikini that suited her figure. The range has gone from strength to strength since then and now stocks a wide range of bikinis (starting from £79.20), shirts and sarongs.

31. Stephanie Pratt

Estimated net worth: £300,000

American Stephanie's a bit of an enigma, as she's arguably the one Chelsea star who so isn't Chelsea. Though, she does like to fly her dogs over from the States, so that's pretty posh.

She attended the Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising in Los Angeles, and first found fame in MTV's Laguna Beach in 2007, a spinoff of MIC-precursor The Hills. Along with MIC, she has appeared in various other reality shows including Celebrity Big Brother and Celebs Go Dating (which definitely loses her points, especially as she had a thing with Joey Essex).

30. Alex Mytton

Estimated net worth: £600,000

Alex Mytton is a vital Made in Chelsea cast member and boi, but he's actually disappointingly un-posh. You can find Myttons at universities around the country: sure, they wear Jack Wills, spend ages on their hair, and probably have a trust fund, but where are the royal connections? Where's the accent? We love Mytton but he's just not as posh as some of his mates. He's a DJ, for God's sake. He did at least study at Lord Wandsworth College and later attended Oxford Brookes.

29. Jess Woodley

Estimated net worth: £650,000

It's not really a surprise that Jess and Mytton had a sort of awkward "thing" between them, given that they're at about similar levels of poshness. Jess is from Surrey, which automatically boosts her in the rankings, along with her studies at Epsom, but a love of tattoos and piercings can never truly be accepted by high society.

28. Stevie Johnson

Estimated net worth: In the hundreds of thousands

Andy's friendly and dependable BFF was born in South Africa, but moved to London as a kid and attended the prestigious Eton College, later studying at Leeds University.

Stevie has also worked as a sauna entrepreneur and in private finance, so both pretty posh ventures, but not on the grand posh scale of some of his former castmates.

27. Andy Jordan

Estimated net worth: In the millions

Compared to some of his MiC mates, Andy never came across as that incredibly posh, but more down to earth like the rest of us. Not that he's a scrubber, far from it. He attended St Edward's School in Oxford, and graduated from the University of Leeds with a Geography degree.

The former broker and flared-nostrilled wonder has since concentrated on his music, which has probably netted him some dosh in the songwriting stakes. While he hasn't set the charts alight, he has completed a sold-out UK tour and has worked in Nashville and with British songwriters such as Sam McCarthy and KATYA.

26. Ollie Locke

Estimated net worth: £6 million

We're huge fans of Ollie Locke, but any innate poshness he may have once had is being watered down – and to be honest, we're not convinced that he ever had an awful lot given that his mum is a local radio DJ and he began Made in Chelsea working on the door at Raffles (both fine jobs, but neither scream posh). Since then, he's gone on to be on Celebrity Big Brother (along with many other shows) and release a book about sex. That's black sheep behaviour, that.

He grew up in Southampton, graduating from Hampshire Collegiate College and Newcastle. He moved to London in 2006, where he worked for an independent magazine in Chelsea.

25. Tiff Watson

Estimated net worth: £500,000

We'd argue that Tiff (like her ex-boyfriend Sam and his older sister Louise, see below) isn't quite as posh as her older sibling Lucy. Purely due to being a bit younger and not as mature (yet).

As with her sister, her entrepreneur father Clive owns The Phene pub in Chelsea, and has also founded various restaurant chains, including Tup Inns, City Pub Company, and the Capital Pub Company. Give it a few years and the mini-Watson may rise the ranks.

24. Lucy Watson

Estimated net worth: £650,000

You might not think Lucy is particularly posh, but her accent is definitely there (and she's certainly mastered the art of the sneer). And on top of that, her dad Clive is a genius entrepreneur who owns The Phene pub in Chelsea (the one Lucy hangs out at all the time, funnily enough) and has his fingers in several other pub pies.

He also sold a pub company to Greene King for something like £70m. That's a lot of money waiting for Lucy… although it is new money. That came from pubs. You win some, you lose some.

Lucy has also modelled for various brands, blogs for Hello! and launched her own line of jewellery named Creature. She is an ambassador for PETA campaigns as well.

23. Caggie Dunlop

Estimated net worth: Unknown

The Binky rule (see below) might seem to be in play here: anyone called Caggie has to be posh. However, we'd argue that she's actually a middle-class girl done good.

She went to an independent school, but begged to leave Surrey's Epsom College when she was 13 because she hated boarding so much – instead, she went to the private Harrodian School and then boarded at Berkshire's posh Wellington College.

She went on to study philosophy at Leeds University, before spending a year studying at the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute, performing in various productions including Rabbit Hole by Mauricio Bustamante. Since leaving Chelsea, Caggie has focused on her music career and her fashion blogs.

22. Sam Thompson

Estimated net worth: £850,000

Sam Thompson isn't quite as posh as his sister Louise (she has the upper hand when it comes to the upper crust) but still: is he or is he not a baby Boris Johnson (albeit much, much nicer)?

Blonde and bumbling, Sam also recently spent £24,000 on a bar bill (those five bottles of Dom Perignon and 10 magnums of Grey Goose do tend to add up). Unfortunately, it was in Watford, which brings down the posh quotient somewhat.

21. James Dunsmore

Estimated net worth: £1.5 million

"James Dunmore" is just a posh name, isn't it? Add on top of that his rugby-boy build and you're starting to see some real poshness come through… and that's before you've even heard his deep, booming voice. We're getting into really posh territory now.

He studied at independent boarding school Kimbolton, and later graduated from the prestigious University of Birmingham. Along with his girlfriend Lucy Watson, he has signed with Europe's top modelling agency, Model 1.

20. Oliver Proudlock

Estimated net worth: £5 million

Proudlock is so laid-back that you can never really consider him truly posh – he's far too relaxed all the time. Having said that, his voice is one of the most privileged ever to grace Chelsea scenes and he not only went to Eton, but graduated in the same year as Prince Harry, and they have loads of close mutual friends. That beats just going to the same school as Kate Middleton, right?

Prouders graduated from Newcastle University with a Fine Art degree, so not ultra posh (sorry, Toon), but he is also the founder of the Serge DeNimes designer clothing brand, and has collaborated with Oliver Sweeney and jewellery designer Theo Fennell.

19. Fredrik Ferrier

Estimated net worth: Hundreds of thousands

The hair alone makes Francis's long-time buddy pretty damn posh. As well as his love of piano, Latin and acting like a monk.

He grew up in Norway, and was educated at the posh Oratory School. He also spent his childhood in Moscow, Texas, Damascus, Reykjavik and Copenhagen, so he's quite the traveller. He is the Director and Founder of GEIST, an international private art dealership and collection, and has worked as model, including a contract in New York.

18. Binky Felstead

Estimated net worth: £1.4 million

She's called Binky. Do you really need any more proof of her poshness than that? Binky is lovely and always seems very down-to-earth, but she did also go to boarding school and loves horse riding and skiing. Mind you, she's probably less posh than Mummy Felstead, whose accent couldn't get much more plummy.

Growing up in the East Sussex countryside, she went to Taunton School in Somerset and gained A-Levels in art and photography. She has launched her own clothing range with Lipstick Boutique and a collection of nail polishes, and has her own cosmetics line named Binky London and a clothing range with InTheStyle. Binky has also modelled for underwear brand Bluebella.

17. Rosie Fortescue

Estimated net worth: £1.1 million

Well, first of all, "Fortescue" is one of the poshest surnames you can have. But Rosie's education also pushes her up the rankings; she attended the girls' school Downe House, which the Duchess of Cambridge also attended (an actual royal). Rosie also studied History of Art (!!!) and now spends her time working in fashion (!!!).

She blogs about fashion over at At Fashion Forte, has had a column in the Evening Standard, and she's collaborated with designers including Covert Cases and Laura Gravestock.

16. Josh 'JP' Patterson

Estimated net worth: £2.5 million

JP is literally the name of Jack Whitehall's parody of a posh boy in Fresh Meat, so there you go. At least Made in Chelsea's JP is posh in a kind of loveable and bumbling way (officially the best kind of posh).

He also went to the same school as Prince Charles, and works as a property developer. A former rugby player (ruggers to him), JP has worked as well on several health and fitness campaigns as a model, including for Bjorn Borg's The Iconic Collection.

15. Phoebe Lettice Thompson

Estimated net worth: Unknown

Oh, Phoebe Lettice, we miss you so much. One of the best villains ever to appear on Made in Chelsea, she was absolutely brilliant on TV and was also suitably posh.

With her huge backcombed hair, snarky posh voice and brilliantly-raised eyebrows, she has a history of working at publications like Tatler and Vogue, and once interned for Bruce Oldfield, a British designer who made dresses for Princess Diana.

14. Georgia 'Toff' Toffolo

Estimated net worth: £800,000

SHE'S CALLED TOFF, which puts her this high automatically. But how posh is she?

She hails from the Devon end of the UK, and attended Torquay Girls' Grammar School, and later studied politics at the University of Westminster. She has also worked for magazine The Lady, and has a very rich and attractive family. Just look at her grandmother for god's sake.

At the last estimate her net worth was placed around the £8000,000 mark. However, that figure is expected to shoot up after she won I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!. It's reported that she was paid £13,000 for her stint in the jungle – and there's more where that came from as she sets out to carve out a career in presenting.

"Her agents have played a blinder. A lot would have turned down such a low fee but they obviously took it knowing her character – it's the right kind of programme for her," talent scout Barry Tomes told the Daily Star Sunday. "She will make more than a million pounds in a year. If they play the game she could earn up to £5million in the long-term."

13. Jamie Laing

Estimated net worth: £2 million

Jamie Laing is another boarding school student (though not at Eton; he attended Oxfordshire's rah-sounding Radley College instead). You might think Jamie wouldn't be anywhere near the top of this list – aside from his love of the words "boi" and "pardy" – just because of his cheeky behaviour and inability to take anything seriously.

But we can't ignore the fact that he's the heir to the McVitie's fortune. Alright, so his great-grandfather invented the digestive biscuit which is, like, the least posh biscuit ever, but that's still quite an empire to acquire.

He also studied theatre at Leeds University, and has created his own candy and clothing brand Candy Kittens. The company has proved pretty successful so far, including a recipe cookbook and getting sweets stocked in Harvey Nichols and Waitrose among other stores.

12. Millie Mackintosh

Estimated net worth: £2 million

What's posher than a packet of digestives? A tin of Quality Street. And Millie Mackintosh's great-grandfather invented the glorious treats (the purple ones! the green triangles!). Alright, they later sold the business so it's not like Millie's going to inherit the company, but that's quite a heritage – and as the product of a prep school and a boarding school, she's got the education to match.

She has also become a model, launched her own clothing collection, has worked as a makeup artist and has created a line of false eyelashes. She was married to rapper Professor Green (sorry Prof, but that kinda lost her some posh points for a while), but she's now seemingly back with old MiC flame Hugo, so she's back in the game.

11. Amber Atherton

Estimated net worth: £4-5 million

Remember Amber from the early years? She was one of the posher ones even back then, whether it was brokering deals with Francis or chatting clothes with Mark-Francis.

Now a successful businesswoman, Amber was already running her own companies before she was even a teenager. She studied Fashion Management at the London College of Fashion, and later her fashion brand won fans including Kate Middleton and Rihanna.

Her company My Flash Trash has struck a deal with American investors Prashanth Bobba and Ateet Ahluwalia, valuing her company at $5m. She has also worked with Moshi Monsters' Michael Acton-Smith. Probably the most successful person on this list after leaving the show.

10. Louise Thompson

Estimated net worth: £1.2 million

Louise shouldn't be posher than Sam, but for some reason she always strikes us as one of the most Made in Chelsea people on Made in Chelsea. That "gap yah" voice for a start. Perhaps it's the way she went through a phase of greeting people with the phrase "what up" or her accent or the fact that she studied architecture at Edinburgh… or maybe it's just that we know she's a really good skier. (She went to boarding school with Rosie, by the way, so she too went to Kate Middleton's alma mater.)

Hailing from South Kensington, she owns a clothing line called Pocket London which sells jeans, tees and other such delights.

9. Olivia Bentley

Estimated net worth: £600,000

Photo credit: Luca Teuchmann/WireImage - Getty Images

Judging purely from her insanely posh voice, her family's huge house when they've cameoed in the show, and her love for wanky art, we'd put her pretty high on this list.

Not only that, but Olivia is the great-great-great granddaughter of the founder of Bentley, WO Bentley. So yeah, that's a lot of posh points.

Growing up in the countryside just outside London, Olivia has also held her own London exhibition to showcase her photography, and has sold her work to rather rich individual and corporate clients.

8. Chloe Green

Estimated net worth: In the multi-millions

She may have only appeared in one season of MiC, but Chloe is one of the richest. Her father is, of course, controversial Arcadia Group (the company behind Topshop, Burton, Dorothy Perkins and... ahem... BHS) chairman Sir Philip Green, who has a net worth of around £6.2 BILLION.

So yeah, that's a lot of money that Chloe will inherit one day. Her father's Croydon background doesn't make her technically all that posh, but her incredibly well-off upbringing, and the fact that she's friends with pretty much any elite celebrity you can think of, automatically put her this high.

7. Victoria Baker-Harber

Estimated net worth: £1.5 million

She's the ultimate baddie, but how posh is she exactly? Pretty darned posh. She grew up in Chelsea, was educated at the London College of Fashion, and also attended Business School.

Before Chelsea, she worked for luxury brand Elle en Jette as a swimwear designer, allowing her to jetset around the world's most stylish resorts. And now she's Mark Francis's partner-in-crime, living a life that exclusively involves wandering around expensive shops and bitching about just about everyone.

6. Hugo Taylor

Estimated net worth: £3 million

Hugo Taylor has a stunningly wealthy name, and he's this high thanks to his penchant for tweed and because he was once romantically linked to Princess Eugenie and is good friends with Chelsy Davy.

His family speaks volumes, too: his dad is a QC and his mum works for Christie's. He also went to Harrow and co-founded sunglasses brand Taylor Morris, which launched in September 2013. He reportedly technically came up with the idea for MiC, as he had pitched a similar idea to MTV back in 2008.

5. Spencer Matthews

Estimated net worth: £2.9 million

Spencer not only has a wealthy family – his parents own the fancy Eden Rock Hotel in St Barths – but he also kicked off Made in Chelsea with a wealthy job himself (he was a foreign exchange broker, which is one of those fancy posh-people jobs we don't really understand).

On top of that, he went to Eton (ETON!) and he has himself casually thrown out there that he "knows most of the royals" (his brother James is married to the Duchess of Cambridge's sister Pippa Middleton, just saying).

Before reportedly earning £100k a year as a foreign exchange trader, he worked as a PR manager at top London clubs including Boujis, Amika and Movida; and he is also a shareholder in his parents' hotel and several estates in Knightsbridge and the South of France.

4. Richard Dinan

Estimated net worth: £5 million

Dicky pretty much sums up what being a posh London businessman is all about, even down to the floppy hair.

His parents are Lady Charlotte Curzon and executive headhunter Captain John Dinan, so that's where he gets his posh traits from. He actually dropped out of school at the age of 16, and started working at Holland & Holland gunmakers, while he also started his own magazine.

Now an entrepreneur, Richard has launched several companies including restaurant discount service Phantom Card. He is a director of various tech companies as well, and has his foot in the venture capital, media and security sectors, including Senturion and Ion Core technology.

3. Sophie Hermann

Estimated net worth: £3.5 million

Sophie may not have hung around for long, but she proved her posh-status while she did. She is actually the heir to Mustang jeans, as her grandfather is founder Luise Hermann. She's also the stepdaughter of famous German actress Uschi Glas.

She studied fashion at the Istituto Marangoni in Milan, and has launched her own self-titled fashion label. Since leaving the show, Sophie has landed a contract with German modelling agency Munich Models.

2. Francis Boulle

Estimated net worth: £10 million

Sorry, do you mean Francis Maximilien Yvan Christophe Boulle? The one who very early on in Made in Chelsea sat for a portrait holding a globe? The one whose net worth is estimated at over £10m? The one who was in Tatler's 'eligible young bachelor' guide several times? The one whose family owns a mining business and who launched his own independent brokerage and marketed diamonds and LITERAL GOLD DUST to investors? That one? Yeah, he's pretty posh, we guess.

Francis spent his childhood in France and the US due to his father's business ventures, and attended the prestigious Oratory School in Berkshire. Eventually, he set up his own independent diamond brokerage, and has also invested in tech and internet startups.

1. Mark-Francis Vandelli

Estimated net worth: £2 million

Could it really have been anyone else? The man who owns grape scissors, speaks in epigrams and shuns people who have sleeping bags couldn't really be much posher (especially when he's swanning about inviting everyone to soirées).

He is the son of an actual Russian princess, Diane Boulting-Casserley Vandelli (a millionairess, socialite and muse to Yves Saint-Laurent in the 1970s and '80s), and former Italian industrialist Marzio Vandelli. He studied History of Art at UCL, and later inherited his mother's fortune.

With an estimated net worth of about £2 million, restorative glasses of champagne always at the ready and almost constantly interviewing for a replacement live-in maid, Mark-Francis swans about the world living an utterly fabulous life and being a member of the Russian aristocracy. The undisputed king of Chelsea…

Made in Chelsea airs on E4.
