"I think coming back to reality and popping the MAFS bubble was so hard," she wrote, admitting a number of factors meant she "truly couldn’t cope", adding: "I think all of my insecurities were bare and I really couldn’t face the thought of filming, the camera crew, poor Thomas.

"I was so fragile I felt broken I was exhausted and truly wanted to go and hide under a rock. I was scared, triggered and overwhelmed with life.

"At this point did I realise being home I couldn’t and wouldn’t not carry on being honest with Tom… I thought being home would give me comfort when really all I was faced with was betrayal, abandonment and lack of trust from my previous relationship and no matter what I couldn’t shake it off.

"I lay in bed thinking am I ruining something good… why are my priorities like this… this isn’t fair on Tom… is Thomas feeling OK… I need to tell him how home stay is making me feel… I can't cope anymore… am I broken… will I ever be undamaged goods… am I worthy of being in a relationship… my mind was in overdrive!" Rozz went on to admit.

"You may ask yourself why do it? If you weren’t ready? Well I was. I wanted marriage I really did!" Rozz continued. "Tom was the best husband but maybe when you give so much positivity to others you forget to care for yourself. If you don’t try will you ever know?

"Who knew bringing a man into my house would affect me so much… it's not Tom who I shouldn’t trust. But when you have been burnt in a previous relationship… it hurts. Can we predict how we will react and feel??? I'm the most honest person and if I could I would. I told Tom as soon as I felt this way."

Elaborating further in the comments, the star wrote: "All I can say is I’m sorry @thomaskriaras I’ve said it 100 times and I will continue to be. You need to be prioritised!!! You are a truly amazing person with the kindest heart and I will never hold you back from finding your happiness.

"I will always be your biggest cheerleader and I know we have a special friendship that will truly last forever no matter what anyone says. I’m honoured to be partnered with you, I’m lucky, grateful and appreciate you always!

"Please BE KIND even the smiliest people can have dark moments… we don’t walk in the same shoes, we never know how anyone is truly feeling and we should never judge or pull down any human!!! If you have ever felt this way I’m here for you always! It’s ok not to feel ok, and life is a rollercoaster, sometimes you just want to put on the breaks.

"That’s where I’m at! Thank you for following our journey so far. I feel your disappointment, I’m scared to watch back the commitment ceremony tomorrow, and I’ve been dreading this part of the experiment, all I can say is I’m sorry let’s see what the [commitment ceremony] brings."

Writing in the comments, Thomas told followers: "Before anyone writes anything negative, you are watching a relationship between two people. Whilst you may have opinions, the only ones that matter, especially to me, are @rozzdarlington’s and my own.

"She was so kind to me and was honest with me throughout this entire process," he added. "I was sad and I still am, but I am not angry, upset or bitter about her decision. She made the right decision for her and we are allowed to change our minds regarding whether we continue to see someone or not.

"Just because you’ve seen me be kind to her on TV does not mean she should be my indentured wife for the rest of her life. She’s the most beautiful person I’ve met both inside and out. Sometimes we have to be selfish and put our needs before our own. So no more negativity. Be there for Rozz. It was hard enough on her."

Thomas also shared his own video on his Instagram page, where he admitted it was "hard" to watch the scenes back, though shared his gratitude to Rozz.

He added in the comments that while he was with Rozz, he "struggled massively to open myself up", which is "something I’ve always struggled to do".

"My mum says hugging my is like hugging an ironing board sometimes hahaha. But with @rozzdarlington, she made me feel safe to do so," he continued. "She taught me to be open and honest, something I’ve really struggled to do, especially in relationships.

"She gave me my confidence back. Something I will forever be thankful for. She showed me I could really give my heart to someone completely and fully. I am sure I did that with her.

"I’m sad but @rozzdarlington you’ve given me so much and you’ve nothing to be sorry for. In relationships, I’ve always felt like there was hot lead in my chest, but whenever I think of you, my heart feels like shining gold. I’ve never felt like that before.

"I always say I’m the third luckiest man because I got matched with you on MAFS. The second was your ex who was an idiot not to cherish you forever. The luckiest man is the man who you will eventually give your heart to and I hope they give you the world and more.

"Again, thank you @rozzdarlington for giving me my confidence back. For unlocking my soul again. Thank you for always being there for me when I really need it. Thank you for making me a better person. And thank you for showing me that I can give my heart completely to someone," he concluded.
