After a tense few minutes, a tearful Peggy told George that she trusted he would prove everyone who doubts him wrong and she decided they would stay together to continue their fairytale.

Next up, it was Adrienne and Matt's turn after the couple had clashed when Adrienne revealed she didn't want to have children.

Saying she'd realised that sometimes, "you have to be cruel to be kind," Adrienne walked to the altar to face Matt.

Speaking first, Matt told his bride that the biggest issue for him was Adrienne not wanting children. However, he went on to say that he couldn't imagine his future with anyone but her despite their differences.

After hearing Matt's words it was Adrienne's turn, who told him that she worried she was "too overbearing for him."

However, in an unexpected twist, Adrienne said their time apart had shown her how much she wanted to be with him and, thus, she'd decided to stay.

We then had Tasha and Paul, who appeared to have very different feelings going into the ceremony.

Tasha spoke first and explained that she had put her trust in Paul and decided to stay and, luckily, the sentiment was shared by Paul who told her he too wanted them to continue their journey together.

Finally, it was Ella and JJ's turn. Ella, the show's first-ever trans bride, explained before going to the altar that she hoped she and JJ were on the same page.

Speaking first, Ella thanked JJ for seeing her "without any judgement," and said he inspired her to be proud of her past.

Despite the positives, Ella confessed that the relationship wasn't right for her as she had to make too many compromises.

Ella ended by telling a devastated JJ: "I may not have found the one in you but I have found myself and my worth."
