Major pub chain giving away free pints at Lancashire and Cumbria bars but there's a catch

A number of pubs in Lancashire, Cumbria and across the UK are giving away free pints of beer this summer.

Robinsons Brewery has announced an 'exciting new campaign' dedicated to celebrating their customers. Bosses have today (June 10) confirmed they are giving away more than 5,000 pints of their Helles lager across participating pubs.

The list includes the Black Horse in Preston, Crown Inn and The Ship, both in Coniston, and Queens Head in Hawkshead. Oliver Robinson, managing director at Robinsons (beer division), said: “We understand that our success is built on the support and loyalty of those drinking in our pubs.

"This special giveaway is our way of saying thank you for choosing to spend your time with us, enjoying the quality and craft that goes into every pint of Robinsons beer. Our Helles lager, a favourite among many, is brewed with the finest ingredients, offering a crisp and clean taste that’s perfect for the warm summer months.

"By giving away over 5,000 pints, we aim to bring a touch of joy and refreshment to our customers."

Pubgoers can join the celebration by visiting a participating pub, purchasing a pint of Helles and scanning the QR code provided at the pub to enter. Winners will be selected from every participating pub, with lucky customers receiving vouchers redeemable for 52 free pints of Helles lager at their favourite Robinsons pub.

Oliver added: "We invite everyone to join us in raising a glass to the spirit of togetherness and the joy of sharing a cold pint with friends and family. Here’s to many more memorable moments at Robinsons pubs."

To take part, head to a participating pub, buy a pint of Helles and you'll be given a unique code to enter online from June 14 to July 31. Robinsons will be drawing the winners from each pub at random and contacting the winners after July 31.

Each winner will receive 52 Helles tokens to redeem at the pub they purchased their winning ticket from. The giveaway is available to people aged over 18 only.
