Man, 24, dies after being hit by East London bus

A man died after being hit by a bus in June. The collision happened at 12.06am on Sunday, June 16, in Mile End.

A 24-year-old was treated at the scene on St Pauls Way, at the junction of Burdett Road, by the London Ambulance Service and taken to hospital for treatment.

He passed away almost three weeks later on Thursday, July 4.

His family are being supported by specialist officers, said the Metropolitan Police.

The driver of the bus stopped at the scene and is assisting officers with their enquiries. No arrests have been made in connection to the incident.
