A murder investigation has been launched in Kensal Green

A 50-year-old man has been arrested after another man was stabbed to death in north-west London.

Police were called to Harrow Road in Kensal Green at 2pm on Sunday following reports of a stabbing.

The London Ambulance Service and London Air Ambulance attended the scene and found a man suffering from stab injuries.

Despite the efforts of emergency services he was pronounced dead at the scene.

No further details about the victim have been given and enquiries are on going to trace his next of kin, the Metropolitan Police said.

The force said a 50-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the incident and is in police custody.

It comes after police launched a murder investigation in Croydon folowing the fatal stabbing of Paul McCarroll.

Nicholas Jones, 34, was charged with with murder in connection with the Croydon incident on Saturday.
