Manchester City's title hopes were boosted on Wednesday evening after Liverpool suffered a shock away defeat at Everton.

Jurgen Klopp's side could not find a way past Sean Dyche's side, who claimed their first Merseyside derby win in front of fans since 2010 after goals from Jarrad Branthwaite and Dominic Calvert-Lewin.

It means City now sit only one point behind Liverpool with two games in hand, the first of which comes on Thursday evening at Brighton. Arsenal lead the way at the top of the table by four points, though Pep Guardiola's side also have two games in hand on the Gunners.

Commenting after the Sky Blues' last league outing against Luton Town, Guardiola said of the battle for top spot: "They like to play the pressure. They like it when you are dead or alive. "That doesn't mean we are going to do it but I am pretty sure we will be there until the end because I know them, I see their faces in the meetings before games and how they prepare. That means we'll be Premier League champions? No, no. I am not saying that. But we will compete, that is for sure."

Listed below is a look at the remaining fixtures of all three teams as the Premier League title race enters its final stages.
