It's advantage Manchester City in this season's Premier League title race after their two main rivals - Arsenal and Liverpool - were both defeated on Sunday afternoon. Arsenal were beaten 2-0 by top-four chasing Aston Villa in the aftermath of Liverpool slipping up against Crystal Palace.

City were first up to the plate this Premier League match round when they swept aside Luton Town on Saturday afternoon. Mateo Kovacic, Erling Haaland, Jeremy Doku and Josko Gvardiol did the damage following an own goal from Luton defender Daiki Hashioka at the Etihad Stadium.

Pep Guardiola and his star-studded squad then watched on as they were handed a monumental double boost 24 hours later. Here, we look at what the run-in has in store compared for City, Arsenal and Liverpool...

The verdict: With so little to separate the three teams heading into the run-in, the title race could go right down to the wire. All three teams boast home advantage on the final day, but Arsenal also have an extra match at home to look forward to.

In their own pursuit for a top-four finish, Tottenham could inadvertently have a telling mark on where the trophy ends up as they have to play Arsenal, Liverpool and City. Despite their extra home game, Arsenal perhaps have the toughest run-in with Chelsea, Tottenham and Manchester United on their schedule. Owing to FA Cup commitments, City will play catch-up after next weekend's semi-final showdown with Chelsea.
