Man dies after being hit by Piccadilly Line train in west London
A man has died after being hit by a Piccadilly Line Tube train in west London.
British Transport Police were called to Hounslow East station just before 12.30pm on Monday to reports of a person hit by a train.
Officers and paramedics from London Ambulance Service worked to save the man but he was pronounced dead at the scene.
A BTP spokesman said: “Work is now underway to identify the man and inform his family. This incident is not being treated as suspicious.

Passengers took to social media to share pictures of crowds waiting to travel from Heathrow Airport after the line was closed following the incident.
