Man fighting for his life after hitting dry stone wall as police hunt very specific car
A biker is fighting for his life after a serious crash in the Yorkshire Dales on Sunday (May 19).
The man in his 30s, from Bolton, was riding a green and black Kawasaki on the B6479 from Settle towards Ribblehead when he lost control of the bike and hit a dry stone wall.
He was taken to hospital by air ambulance following the crash, which happened at 11am, where he remains in a critical condition. Police are now appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the collision to get in touch.

Officers are particularly keen to speak to the driver and/or passengers of a silver Skoda Citigo, which was travelling towards Settle at the time of the crash.
A spokesperson for North Yorkshire Police said: “Emergency services attended the scene and we are now appealing for witnesses or anyone with dashcam footage who has not yet spoken to us.
“In particular, we’d like to speak to the occupants of a silver Skoda Citigo which was travelling towards Settle who may have seen the incident."
