Man is found dead at property with police treating death as 'unexplained'

A man has been found dead in a Cambridgeshire town, police have confirmed. The man in his 70s was found at a home in Ramsey.

Police officers attended the property on Wednesday (May 1) after receiving reports of the death of the elderly man. They have issued a statement, confirming his death.

A Cambridgeshire Police spokesperson said: "We were called at about 1.30pm today (1 May) to reports of a sudden death of man in his 70s at a property in Church Green, Ramsey. Officers and paramedics are at the scene and the death is currently being treated as unexplained."

A spokesperson for Cambridgeshire Fire and Rescue said: "A crew assisted the ambulance service with an incident."
