A man missing from Gillingham could be in east Kent after a sighting in Herne Bay, said Kent Police. Andrew Goodwin was reported missing on Thursday (June 13) and officers are concerned for his welfare.

It is believed the 63-year-old may be in Herne Bay as he was last seen in the High Street yesterday (Sunday, June 16). Andrew is slim, around 5ft 9in, with balding grey hair.

When he was last seen, he was wearing a dark top, blue jeans, light brown shoes and carrying a large green holdall on his back. Anyone who has seen Andrew or knows where he is, is urged by police to call 999 quoting 13-0399.

Kent Police also wants to hear from anyone with doorbell footage, dashcam or CCTV covering the area around the High Street and Mortimer Street in Herne Bay between 3pm and 8pm on June 16.
