Man in Royal Stoke after crash with parked car on major Stoke-on-Trent road
A driver was taken to hospital after being involved in a crash with a parked car on a major Stoke-on-Trent road. Emergency services descended on Scotia Road, Burslem, close to Dimensions Leisure Centre following the collision shortly before 3pm today (May 2).
Paramedics treated one man at the scene before taking him to the Royal Stoke University Hospital. His injuries are not believed to be serious. The road has since reopened and traffic is running freely.
A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokesman said: "We were called to reports of an RTC on Scotia Road in Burslem at around 2.50pm and sent an ambulance to the scene.
"On arrival, crews found one car had been involved in a collision with a stationary vehicle. The driver, a man, was already out of the car and was treated by ambulance staff for injuries not believed to be serious before being taken to Royal Stoke University Hospital for further treatment."
