Man Rubs Face on Michigan Worker's Shirt After Being Asked to Wear a Mask

Police in Holly, Michigan, appealed for the public’s help on May 4 after a man was filmed rubbing his face on a store worker’s shirt after he was told to wear a mask while shopping.

The Holly Police Department released footage of the incident, which occurred at the Dollar Tree store on North Saginaw Street at around 1.30 pm on Saturday, May 2.

Police said the clerk seen in the footage advised the man that all customers must wear a mask in the store, as stated on the signs posted on the entry doors. Footage shows the man walking to the clerk and wiping his nose and face on her shirt. Police said the man said, “Here, I will use this as a mask,” as he carried out the act.

Police said the man “continued to be loud and disruptive inside the store” before he left in a white van. Police said the man was wanted on suspicion of assault and they appealed for anyone with information about the man’s identity to come forward. Credit: Holly Police Department via Storyful
