Man 'Set On Fire' In Great Yarmouth Nightclub

Four men have been arrested after they allegedly set a man on fire at a nightclub in Great Yarmouth.

The 34 year old is thought to have been at a bar on the town's Britannia Pier when he was set alight by the men.

Norfolk Police said they were called to reports of a disturbance at Long John's Showbar at around 1.30 am.

The man was taken to James Paget University Hospital with serious burns to his hands and torso.

He was then transferred to Broomfield specialist burns unit in Chelmsford, Essex. He is said to be in a serious but non life-threatening condition.

Four men - aged 24, 26, 28 and 33 - were arrested at the scene.

The men, who are believed to have known the victim, were released on bail several hours later.

All five men are thought to be from the Sheffield area.
