Man suffers head injuries after being attacked with cricket bat in Bradford

A MAN was attacked with a cricket bat in Bradford - sparking a police investigation.

The incident happened on Swain House Road on May 19 and officers have today issued a public appeal for information.

The 28-year-old victim suffered injuries to his head which required hospital treatment.

A West Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: "It's believed he was assaulted with a cricket bat by one suspect but it's believed there may have been more people there.  

"Officers are keen to speak to anyone who witnessed the assault or who was in the area at the time."
