Man taken to hospital after crash on major road

A man has been taken to hospital after a crash this morning on a major Norfolk road.

An East of England Ambulance Service spokesman said: “We were called just before 10am this morning to attend a road traffic collision on the A140 near Diss involving a car and a motorbike.

“One ambulance was sent to the scene. An adult male was transported to the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital for further care.”

Norfolk Police were also called to the scene after the accident.

The A143 was blocked, as well as part of the BP roundabout that connects to the A140.

All roads are now clear.
