Man and woman charged after Glasgow rammy 'involving crossbow
Two people have been charged after armed cops swooped to a disturbance in Glasgow allegedly involving a crossbow.
Officers were alerted to the incident on Kenmure Street in the city at around 4:05pm on Monday, May 6, and quickly locked down the street.
A 44-year-old man and a 43-year-old woman have been arrested and charged in connection with the disturbance and were due to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court today.
Images show armed officers at the scene, and a large number of police vehicles parked on the street.
Cops confirmed yesterday that they attended the area following reports of a man 'brandishing a crossbow' and someone else having being 'assaulted.'
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “A 44-year-old man and a 43-year-old woman have been arrested and charged in connection with a disturbance in Kenmure Street, Glasgow that police were called to around 4.05pm on Monday, 6 May, 2024.
"They were due to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Tuesday, 7 May, 2024.
"No one else was injured as a result of this incident."
