Man, woman fatally shot in suspected NYC murder-suicide: sources

A man and woman died in a double shooting in the Bronx Thursday afternoon — with investigators suspecting a murder-suicide, cops and law enforcement sources said.

A 24-year-old man, Monroe Tillman, and a 22-year-old woman, Emely Morales, were each shot in the head at 174th Street and Davidson Avenue in Morris Heights around 1:40 p.m., authorities and sources said.

They were each both pronounced dead at the scene, and a gun was recovered, police said.

It wasn’t immediately clear whether the violence happened inside a building or out on the street. The exact relationship between the pair was also not immediately known.

The man has a probation history for juvenile robbery, and has previously been nabbed for a vehicle traffic law violation, the sources said.
