Leicester City are approaching exactly one week without a manager at the helm of the club. It was last Monday that Enzo Maresca officially departed for Chelsea, and in the time since the odds have been drastically shifting as to who his replacement will be.

A raft of names have been mentioned in the same breath as Leicester, even before the club's last manager was announced out of the exit door. However, only a few of these can say they have been considered 'favourite' for the now vacant job.

Initially this title was given to West Bromwich Albion's Carlos Corberan. The Spaniard has guided both his current team and Huddersfield Town into the Championship play-offs in recent years, earning him valid recognition in the East Midlands.

However, claims of talks with Steve Cooper emerged and the Welshman's presence saw him climb the odds ladder drastically at the expense of Corberan, who has drifted away in the next Foxes manager market. The ex-Nottingham Forest boss finds himself as the current leader as things stand in Sky Bet 's latest odds.

Similarly Graham Potter has become an attractive prospect as he has been billed as a 'top target'. The 49-year-old, who is also out of work since last managing Chelsea in early 2023, follows closely behind.

Amongst the other names floated, a duo of Manchester United legends have piqued some interest. Most recently Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has stormed onto the scene - even bounding ahead of Corberan at this current stage. Ruud van Nistelrooy was also one of the early frontrunners.

And finally over the weekend David Moyes has surprisingly jumped from 12/1 to be an attractive 3/1 third-favourite option to complete a firefighting job at the King Power Stadium next campaign, having recently left West Ham United.
