Manchester United are interested in Galatasaray defender Sacha Boey, according to reports.

The 23-year-old has not missed a single minute for his club this season and played in both Champions League group games against United. Erik ten Hag is reported to be impressed by the Frenchman. He is planning to strengthen his defence next year, although it is widely thought he will focus on centre-back reinforcements.

Boey is a right-back but with Diogo Dalot contracted at Old Trafford until 2028 having signed a renewal in May and Aaron Wan-Bissaka expected to have his contract extension triggered, such a move seems slim. However Turkish outlet FAUL, French publication RMC Sport and now Fanatik, also of Turkey, all report they are keen.

Boey recorded a goal and four assists in 33 matches last season and has already chalked up two goals in 27 outings this term. It is thought Galatasaray are more likely to entertain offers for the full-back in the summer rather than allow him to leave mid-season.

Elsewhere, United could lose Sergio Reguilon against their wishes in the January window. According to the Mirror, Borussia Dortmund have enquired about Reguilon's availability ahead of a potential move. The Tottenham full-back was signed in the summer to fill in for Luke Shaw and Tyrell Malacia who were both sidelined with injuries.

However, Shaw has now returned to the starting line-up and Reguilon has not featured as much as he would have liked. United have a break clause in the loan agreement that can be activated this winter. Reguilon's future at the club could well depend on Malacia and when he returns to full fitness.
