Manchester United player ratings as Harry Maguire good but Rasmus Hojlund poor vs Burnley
Andre Onana
Pulled off one of the saves of the season from Lyle Foster and denied him again in a one-on-one. A matchwinning performance until his daft foul on Zeki Amdouni. 6
Diogo Dalot
Did not have as much joy entering midfield as he did against Sheffield United but did not have much trouble defensively, either. 6
Casemiro
Overcame an early lost duel with David Fofana and looked at ease again in his third match running at centre half until his clumsy header played United into trouble. 6

Harry Maguire
Performed well again and at one point urged teammates to get up to his level. Another solid performance as the only centre back. 7
Aaron Wan-Bissaka
Did not make much of an impression and passed up a shooting chance when Ramus Hojlund laid the ball off. 5
Kobbie Mainoo
Shot just wide of the post in the first half but otherwise quiet. His removal was loudly booed by the supporters, possibly perplexed Christian Eriksen did not make way. 5
Christian Eriksen
Angered Erik ten Hag when he dawdled on the ball and came close to making it 1-0. Surprisingly stayed on over Mainoo. 5
Antony
Started well and drew the first stop from Arijanet Muric before diverting the ball narrowly wide. Faded for a while but took his goal impressively. 7
Bruno Fernandes
Creative again and smacked the post in the first half but his performance level dropped in the second as United struggled for the breakthrough. 6
Alejandro Garnacho
Skied an excellent chance on the half volley in the second minute and struggled to recover. Better in the second half. 5
Rasmus Hojlund
United had plenty of first-half chances but none fell to Hojlund. He barely got a kick in the second half and was substituted for Amad. 4
Subs
Amad
Urgent again. 6
Scott McTominay
Emerged at 0-0 but didn't get the goal this time. 5
Sofyan Amrabat
Came on after United went ahead. 5
Mason Mount
Came on in added time and made a big tackle. 6
Manager
The Antony selection was vindicated with his first Premier League goal in over a year but Eriksen did not improve enough on his midweek outing. 5
