Manchester United will be without the suspended Bruno Fernandes against Burnley.

The midfielder is serving a one-match ban after collecting his fifth yellow card of the season in Monday’s 1-1 draw at Newcastle.

Edinson Cavani gets a start against Burnley after he came off the bench to rescue a point against Newcastle.

Cavani scored his second goal of the season to earn Manchester United a point at St James’ Park and his return to form and fitness is a major boost for Ralf Ragnick.

Scott McTominay appeared to go down in discomfort against Newcastle before being replaced by Nemanja Matic with 12 minutes remaining, although he starts the game against Burnley at Old Trafford.

United will again be without Victor Lindelof, who has tested positive for Covid.

Paul Pogba will also miss out due to his thigh problem, as he prepares to enter the final six months of his contract.

Manchester United starting lineup: de Gea, Wan-Bissaka, Bailly, Maguire, Shaw, McTominay, Matic, Sancho, Greenwood, Cavani, Ronaldo

Subs: Rashford, Lingard, Fred, Varane, Dalot, Henderson, Alex Telles, van de Beek, Elanga.
