Manchester United's final five Premier League fixtures compared to Newcastle and Chelsea
Manchester United returned to winning ways in the Premier League with a 4-2 victory over Sheffield United.
The Reds initially trailed in the game after an early goal from Jayden Bogle for the Blades. United responded with a goal from Harry Maguire shortly before half-time, with Bruno Fernandes scoring a brace and Rasmus Hojlund also on the score sheet after Ben Brereton-Diaz had put the visitors back in front.
As a result, Erik ten Hag's side moved up to sixth place in the Premier League table going into the weekend. The Reds will now prepare for another home match at Old Trafford, this time against Burnley.
The clash against the Clarets is the first of United's final five Premier League fixtures. The Reds are battling with a host of other clubs in the league for European qualification, although Champions League football remains a distant possibility given the points gap between themselves, Aston Villa and Tottenham Hotspur.
