Man's body found in Cambridge field with police called to scene

The body of a man was found in a field in Cambridge on Tuesday (June 25). Police were called by the ambulance service after the body was found in Five Trees Field off Fen Road.

Officers attended and the death has been deemed non-suspicious. A file will be passed to the coroner.

A force spokesperson said: "We were informed by the ambulance service at 8.42pm yesterday evening of a man’s body being found in Five Trees Field, Fen Road. Officers attended and the death has been deemed non-suspicious, a file will be passed to the coroner."

Eyewitnesses said the field was taped off while police attended. One said the "whole little field is blocked off".
