Mariah Carey is set to return to Las Vegas with a new series of shows.

"Vegas, I'm coming back to town with a new show!!" Mariah, 54, wrote in a new Instagram post. "The Celebration of Mimi Live in Las Vegas, this April 12-27 at Dolby Live at Park MGM!"

The residency will celebrate the 19th anniversary of the singer's 10th studio album, The Emancipation of Mimi, which was considered to be her "comeback album" by critics and became her best-selling release in the U.S. in a decade.

According to Billboard, a new statement revealed that "the Las Vegas shows will feature fan favourites from that album as well as other hits from her unparalleled illustrious career."

The pop icon's upcoming shows will be her first Las Vegas residency in four years, following The Butterfly Returns residency, which ran from 2018 to 2020.

Mariah, the self-proclaimed Queen of Christmas, most recently toured the U.S. with her holiday show Merry Christmas One and All! which ran from 15 November 2023 to 17 December 2023.
