Mark Ruffalo Celebrates Lookalike Son Keen's 23rd Birthday: 'Proud of All You Have Accomplished'

The actor shares his three kids — Keen, Bella and Odette — with wife Sunrise Coigney

Mark Ruffalo's son is another year older!

On Wednesday, June 19, the actor, 56, shared a series of photos on his Instagram as he celebrated his son Keen's 23rd birthday. The proud dad included a few throwback photos of Keen from when he was a toddler, standing in a field and smiling with Ruffalo.

The star also shared a more recent photo of the father-son duo, smiling outside a mosaic wall. In the sweet photo, Keen has a striking resemblance to his dad, both sporting long curly hair and smiling for the camera.

"Happy Birthday, Keen. Love you so much and proud of all you have accomplished this year. Keep going," Ruffalo wrote in his caption.

Ruffalo shares his three kids – Keen, Bella, 18, and Odette, 16 — with wife Sunrise Coigney.

In February, the actor had his family around him as he received his star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. The four posed for a serious shot as Ruffalo got his star, later followed by a more candid shot where Coigney looked at her family and laughed while Bella and Keen appear mid-conversation, debating their pose, and Ruffalo cheered on his own.

The actor acknowledged his kids during his acceptance speech, saying, "My kids, Bella and Keen and Odette, you taught me so much about being a parent, being a man, being an actor, and this is your star, my whole family, in ways that you won't understand for some time."

In a November 2019 interview with PEOPLE, Ruffalo admitted that balancing his career with life as a father of three isn't always easy.

"It's intense," the Spotlight star said at the time. "The times when my wife is gone and I've had to take care of everything … the laundry alone is enough to destroy you."

He also praised his wife for shouldering more of the responsibilities at home, calling her "just a hero."
