Mark Ruffalo Laughs with His Older Kids as They Strike Silly Poses at Hollywood Walk of Fame Star Ceremony
The actor had his family by his side as he accepted the career accolade
Mark Ruffalo had the love and support of his family as he enjoyed a major moment in his career.
The Avengers actor, 56, received his star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in a ceremony on Thursday. Ruffalo appeared with wife Sunrise Coigney and two of their three kids — Bella, 18, and Keen, 22. Odette, 16, did not appear with the rest of the family.
The four posed for a serious shot first, later followed by a more candid shot where Coigney looks at her family and laughs as Bella and Keen appear mid-conversation, debating their pose, and Ruffalo cheers on his own.
The actor acknowledged his kids during his acceptance speech, saying, "My kids, Bella and Keen and Odette, you taught me so much about being a parent, being a man, being an actor, and this is your star, my whole family, in ways that you won't understand for some time."

Ruffalo's eldest hasn't quite followed in his father's footsteps yet, but he has dipped his toe in the acting world, making cameos in two of his dad's projects, Begin Again in 2013 and Thor: Ragnarok.
Keen also sat beside his dad, mom and younger sister, Odette, when Ruffalo virtually won best actor at the 2021 Golden Globe Awards for his dual role in the HBO miniseries I Know This Much Is True.
In his speech, Ruffalo thanked his family for supporting his career, saying they "let me go off and bring these crazy people home and they have to live with all these years. Thank you, guys."
Ruffalo has been married to his French actress wife since 2000.
In a November 2019 interview with PEOPLE, Ruffalo admitted that balancing his career with life as a father of three isn't always easy.
"It's intense," the Spotlight star said at the time. "The times when my wife is gone and I've had to take care of everything … the laundry alone is enough to destroy you."
He also praised his wife for shouldering more of the responsibilities at home, calling her "just a hero."
