Yahoo News Was Mark Strong accidentally revealed to be in Bond 25?
Mark Strong is no stranger to action and spy movies – but could he soon be part of the daddy of all of them, James Bond?
Well, a reported Instagram post by the Kingsman actor's personal trainer appeared to suggest that the actor might be part of Daniel Craig's final outing as 007.
In the since-deleted video (via ScreenRant), the actor is seen in action in the gym.
However, more interestingly, the hashtags included mentions of Daniel Craig and James Bond himself, hinting they were working on the movie. The clip has since been removed and re-uploaded without the Bond mentions.
Don't get too excited, mind – especially since a representative for Strong has since told Digital Spy that reports of the actor being involved in Bond 25 are "inaccurate".
As for concrete news about the next Bond movie, we do know that Danny Boyle will be in the director's chair... though it's a gig he nearly turned down.
"I like watching big films but I don't think I'm necessarily good at making them," he said recently. "Then I thought, 'No, you shouldn't think like that.'"
Boyle eventually decided to take the job after working on a concept with collaborator John Hodge, adding: "We have this idea about what we want to do with Bond and I felt we should have a go because of this idea. So we are trying to stay true to our principles.
"If you repeat yourself you don't ask yourself enough questions, you don't feel the fear about what you're doing because you feel you know what you're doing."
