Mark Wright has left fans gobsmacked after revealing a huge new feature in the sprawling home he shares with wife Michelle Keegan. The couple, who got hitched in 2015, have been living in their dream mansion for nearly two years now. They reportedly splashed out £3.5 million on the mock-Tudor style house back in October 2019.

Over the course of almost four years, they supervised the demolition of the original property to construct their own luxury Georgian-style mansion. They moved in while the final touches were being added to their dream abode.

However, it wasn't until August of last year that the actress and presenter could truly celebrate, following the completion of their stunning resort-like garden which marked the end of the massive project. To mark the occasion, the pair threw a lavish party featuring performances from Mark's mate Olly Murs, Scouting for Girls and a comedy set by Russell Kane.

Throughout the entire transformation process, Mark and Michelle kept fans updated via their dedicated Instagram account, Wrighty Home. Even though their renovation work is finished, they continue to share glimpses into their cherished home every now and then, reports the Manchester Evening News.

Mark took to social media on Thursday (July 4) to share more footage of his property's grounds. He posted a compilation video of the lawn, which includes an on-site football pitch. While the pitch had been featured in a previous post, it seemed to be a new revelation for some followers who were astounded by its presence.

The video displayed the grass before what appeared to be treatment, after which Mark, 37, showcased the results, informing his followers that fertiliser was used to enhance it. The post was promoting gardening brand Pitchcare, which was also tagged in the caption.

Other snippets in the video included panoramic views of the football pitch, complete with visually pleasing mowed stripes. The ex-TOWIE star and semi-professional footballer then provided a closer look at the pitch, kicking a football into the opposite goal in another segment of the video, with the house visible in the background.

Followers were quick to react to the post. @michaela_brealey queried: "Who has a football pitch in their back garden? " @nick_tidball joked: "I'm sorry but how the hell did you convince your Mrs to create a whole film size football pitch in your back garden! ".

@jaynetaylor77 responded: "Wow what an amazing house and garden." @sheltsagain posted: "Dammit. Always wanted a little pitch in my garden! Jelly much! " @littlemrst81 typed: "Haha love it and why not! ! ! " @paulkelbie added: "Now this is top content! That looks a dream."
