Less is more when it comes to sex for Marlon Wayans.

"I don't need all the circus act. I so appreciate simple stuff," the actor and comedian, 51, tells PEOPLE in this week's issue.

"Missionary — it's great. I don't need to swing from ceilings and twist up nothing, because after we're done, I can just go right to sleep," he continues.

According to Wayans, this outlook is "all a part of getting older," and he notes, "I really enjoy being this age."

"I'm just a lot more focused on the energy I put on a stage. If I got time for anything else, God bless me," adds the star, whose latest special, Good Grief, arrives on Prime Video on June 4.

Currently, Wayans says he isn't looking for a relationship or to settle down.

"I never wanted to get married. I didn't want to get divorced," he explains. "I don't know if I was ready for marriage, and now I'm 51, and you get to this part in your life where you're like, 'Yeah, I don't need to go to a club.' "

"I won't say no, put it that way," he admits. "If it's when it's right, sure. I'm not in a rush. I think sometimes you go through these things to find you, and I know exactly who I am. You just got to find the right fit."

Wayans was in a long-term relationship with Angela Zackery from 1992 to 2013, and the pair share two children, sons Kai and Shawn. He also shares daughter Axl, 18 months, with ex Brittany Moreland.

Earlier this month, Wayans told The New York Times that he never wed because he worried that his potential wife would affect his relationship with his mother, Elvira Altheia.

"I never got married, because I never wanted my mother to be jealous of a woman. I never wanted my mother to feel second to any woman," he explained to the outlet.

"I told my mother on her deathbed, 'I never got married because I always wanted you to be my No. 1 girl.' Those were my last words. I said, 'Take that to heaven with you,' " he recalled of his mother's death in 2020 at the age of 81.

"My mother’s death broke me," Wayans added to The New York Times. "It shattered me into a million pieces, because that was my girl."
