A Married at First Sight UK groom has shared his "heartbreaking grief" in a very moving tribute on Instagram. George Roberts, who appeared on the E4 series in 2022, was married to April Banbury.
While the couple remained together at final vows they had a rocky ride on the show, with many arguments and heated moments, and later split after the series ended. He said: "The world has lost an incredible, wise, and gentle man... sometimes blended families are the best... and if there was ever a choice, we would have never wanted anything different, than you in our lives. You will be celebrated everyday in our hearts."

"In these moments of heartbreaking grief, I remember the only reason we have an empty space is because we were blessed with someone who loved us so beautifully it occupied an entire part of our souls. Will always love you 'Pops'. Till we see you again xx" followed by a red love heart.
