The Rig, a supernatural thriller from Prime Video, will be returning for a second outing.
The series, which debuted on the streamer last month, follows the crew of a remote Scottish oil rig when they become trapped by a mysterious fog that prevents them from returning home.
Season two, which is set to begin filming later this year, will see the surviving crew members head to a new location, where new dangers await them.
The crew will have to deal with the aftermath of the tense season one finale, as well as the "swirling conspiracies, conflicts and new threats from the dark depths of the world's oceans".
Line of Duty's Martin Compston, Mark Bonnar and Rochenda Sandall, Game of Thrones stars Iain Glen, Mark Addy and Owen Teale, Schitt's Creek's Emily Hampshire, as well as Molly Vevers, Abraham Popoola and Stuart McQuarrie, will all return for season two, alongside some new faces.
"It was always my aim to build a story that starts in Scotland but speaks to a global audience about global themes," creator David Macpherson said in a statement.
"In [season] two, I'm looking forward to expanding the world of our show through the eyes of our excellent cast, as we deliver more shocks and thrills and delve deeper into both our characters. and our show's expanding original mythology."

The Rig is available to stream on Amazon Prime Video.
