Yahoo News Marvel star Florence Pugh unveils shaved head at Met Gala
Florence Pugh shocked fans by showing off her new buzzcut at this year's Met Gala.
The Marvel star attended the fashion event in New York, which takes place each year on the first Monday in May - held last night (May 1).
Recently announced as a brand ambassador for Italian fashion house Valentino, Pugh opted for a daring, cut-out black and white dress, teamed with a black feathered headpiece from the iconic fashion group.

The actress explained she had kept her newly shaved head a secret for nearly a month and that it was part of the look for upcoming movie We Live in Time, in which she stars opposite Andrew Garfield.
"It was required for the job that I happily wanted to do and I thought what is the best way to release it to the world than at the Met," the Met first-timer told the press on the red carpet.
"I've been keeping it under wraps for about three weeks now," she added.
"I'm very happy to have it here with this look, it makes everything perfect."

We Live in Time, directed by Brooklyn and The Goldfinch's John Crowley, has been described as "a funny, deeply moving and immersive love story" although additional plot details have been kept under wraps.
It'll certainly be interesting to find out more about the relationships between the two characters and why Pugh's protagonist shaves her hair off, given she sports a blonde, fringed do in a first-look image with Garfield.
