Marvin Humes reveals the secret of his happy marriage to wife Rochelle

Marvin Humes has revealed the secret to his happy marriage to Rochelle Humes - hard work, prioritising family and always having each other's backs.

The Hit List presenters, who have also hosted This Morning together, met in 2010 during their early days of pop stardom - Marvin with JLS and Rochelle with The Saturdays.

Telling The Mirror how their marriage was stronger than ever after three children, Marvin said: "Rochelle is beautiful inside and out. She is my best friend. It is as simple as that. I love her more every day.

“No marriage is perfect but we are a team. We love working together, which is quite unique. But we try to focus on being husband and wife, best friends and good parents first and foremost above everything else.

“We always make time for each other as a couple – it’s important to keep having date nights and weekends away. You have to keep working at the marriage and not take each other for granted."

He added that they "always have each other’s backs" and try hard to support each other and compromise in any way they can.

They are parents to Alaia-Mai, eight, Valentina, four and one-year-old Blake, who Marvin said were always their top priority and added that he didn't mind what his children ended up doing as long as they were happy.

Marvin and Rochelle, who married in 2012, are planning on renewing their vows in a small ceremony abroad next year, saying that they wanted to be able to celebrate with all three of their children present and acknowledge what they had achieved in their relationship so far.

Rochelle's Saturdays bandmate Frankie Bridge is currently taking part in I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here!, which is due to end next Sunday (12 December).

Earlier this week, she revealed that she had once given husband Wayne Bridge a cast of her bottom which hangs on the wall in their house, which he later showed off on Instagram.
