We have more news from ITV regarding its latest schedule change following the death of Queen Elizabeth II, as it has been confirmed that The Masked Dancer and The Voice UK are both scheduled to go on as planned.

The Masked Dancer will air at 6.50pm on Saturday (September 10), followed by The Voice UK at 8pm. Both programmes were recorded before the Queen's death.

There will be no commercials airing on this day and neither will there be any advertising running during the channel's royal coverage.

There will be some schedule changes during the daytime on Saturday to make room for the rolling news and non-stop coverage of the official proclamation for King Charles III, who will take over the monarchy from his late mother, Queen Elizabeth II.

ITV also intends to reintroduce some of its previously-planned programming over the coming days, although that schedule will remain subject to changes.

The UK lost Queen Elizabeth II, its longest reigning monarch, on Thursday (September 8) at Balmoral Castle in Scotland, after news emerged that she had been kept under medical supervision that morning.

Every senior member of the royal family made the journey to Scotland to be with the Queen during this time.

King Charles III made a moving tribute to his late mother in a statement, calling the event "a moment of great sadness" for him and the members of his family.

"We mourn profoundly the passing of a cherished sovereign and a much-loved mother," the statement added.

The Queen is survived by her four children – King Charles III, Anne, Princess Royal, Prince Andrew, Duke of York, and Prince Edward, Earl of Wessex – as well as eight grandchildren, including Princes William and Harry, and 12 great-grandchildren.

The Voice UK, The Masked Singer and The Masked Dancer air on ITV.
