An ominous shelf cloud was seen hovering in southeast Kentucky on Friday, July 5, as severe thunderstorm warnings were issued for the area.

This video was captured by Johnnie Nicholson, who said it shows the massive cloud in Laurel County, where a severe thunderstorm warning was in effect.
