MasterChef Star Gregg Wallace Marries Girlfriend Anne-Marie Sterpini

Gregg Wallace tied the knot with his fourth wife Anne-Marie Sterpini in a romantic country wedding over the weekend.

The MasterChef star, 51, and caterer Anne-Marie, 30, exchanged vows at Anne Boleyn’s childhood home, Hever Castle, in Kent on Saturday (Aug 6).

Gregg’s TV co-host John Torode took on the role of best man, while his girlfriend Lisa Faulkner and MasterChef: The Professionals’ judge Monica Galetti also attended the intimate ceremony.

Other guests included Gregg’s mum Mary Pettman and brother Paul, who arrived at the 13th century church in an RAC van after their original ride to the wedding broke down.

At the evening reception, the newlyweds celebrated with around 120 invitees – according to the Sunday Mirror, though it’s unconfirmed whether they had a wedding cake with a buttery biscuit base.

It was love at first type for the couple who first met in 2013, after Anne-Marie tweeted the chef to ask him whether rhubarb went with duck, and have been inseparable ever since.

Gregg previously told The Mirror: “I looked at her picture and thought, ‘Oh wow!’ so I started flirting and sent her my number.

“At first she couldn’t tell if it was me or a lookalike. But she soon realised once we got to a restaurant and people started saying, ‘Hello, Gregg.’”

Gregg popped the all-important question to Anne-Marie, who is 21 years his junior, in December 2014 – shortly before their two-year anniversary together.

The BBC presenter, who is father to daughter Libby, 19, and son Tom, 22, has since expressed his desire to extend his family with Anne-Marie, as he joked: “I think she’ll be pregnant by the time we return from the honeymoon."

Huge congratulations to the new Mr & Mrs Wallace!
