THIS POST CONTAINS SPOILERS FOR SEASON 2 OF BUYING BEVERLY HILLS.

While she never appears on screen, Morgan Wade looms large on season 2 of Buying Beverly Hills.

The country singer, 29, and Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Kyle Richards, 55, have been the subject of rumors about a possible romance, and the speculation comes up on the new season of Richards' husband Mauricio Umansky's show.

While giving an update on the status of their separation, which the famous couple navigate throughout season two, Umansky, 53, responds to a question about what's "going on with Morgan."

"Honestly I just never asked straight up," he says. "They definitely have some sort of connection together. They spend a lot of time together. What that connection is I have no idea."

He reveals that he's been hesitant to even look into it. "Maybe one of the reasons I don’t want to ask is because I don’t want to put the extra pressure on her. If it’s working for her and it’s giving her the opportunity to be dealing with our separation, I’m good with that."

Wade's name also comes up earlier in the season, when Richards reveals to Umansky that she is leaving town to star in a music video for the singer. At that time, he says he is sure there was nothing romantic happening between the pair.

In a confessional-style interview Umansky explains, "So Morgan Wade is a country star. There’s a lot of rumors that are going around that Kyle is sleeping around with Morgan. I got a tell you. I don’t believe she’s got anything going on with Morgan. Maybe I’m the only dumb--- that doesn’t. But I don’t believe she has anything going on with Morgan. I don’t believe it."

On the recent finale of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills season 13 reunion, Richards addressed the ongoing rumors about the nature of her friendship with the singer after she appeared as the love interest in the steamy video for Wade's song "Fall in Love with Me."

In the music video, Kyle and Morgan can be seen feeding each other fruit, taking a joint bubble bath and nearly locking lips.

"I said to the director, 'I've never like actually kissed anybody on camera, let alone a woman,'" Richards recalled. "So I was very nervous and anxious, but if I'm being very honest with myself, I was obviously curious in order to say yes."

"I said yes for a reason, I mean, and you know, she's hot, what can I say?" she added.

Host Andy Cohen then posed the "million dollar question" and asked if there was anything going on between the two. Kyle paused but then denied rumors that she and Morgan were a couple.

"I love her, she's my friend and I love her," she said, before admitting that she didn't know if she could see herself with the country singer.

"I'm evolving, I'm changing," she continued. "I'm clearly going through some evolution of my own and I don't know. I don't know what my future holds right now."

The music video was filmed before news broke of Umansky and Richards' separation last July.

In addition to co-starring in the video, Wade and Richards have tattooed initials on each other's bodies and vacationed together in Paris.

Season 2 of Buying Beverly Hills is now streaming on Netflix.
