George, 33, acted as one of the pallbearers at Parker's funeral on Wednesday, alongside their co-stars from The Wanted Siva Kaneswaran, Jay McGuiness and Nathan Sykes.
Last night (Friday), George reflected on his devastating week as he posted photos of floral tributes from Wednesday to Instagram and sent a final message of love to his friend.
He wrote: "Good night beautiful boy. I will always think of you. Thanks for making my life so much better than I could ever have hoped for.
"Carrying you was an honour. You have carried me so many times over the last 12 years.
"I love you Tom. See you up there brother."
Parker, a dad of two, died earlier this month aged 33 from a brain tumour he had been diagnosed with in 2020.
In his final weeks, he had joined the rest of The Wanted on tour, making brief appearances on stage and spending precious time with his bandmates.
Many of George's celebrity friends offered him their support, with Martine McCutcheon commenting: "Beautiful words. You have such a big heart and was the bestest friend anyone could have wished for. What you shared in one life was the equivalent of 50 for many others! Sending you all my love darling. Martine xxxx"
Singer Diane Warren wrote: "So very sorry Max. Beautifully said. Sending love."
Union J star Josh Cuthbert added: "Beautiful words mate. He will be waiting for you with open arms. Love ya man."
George, who took part in Strictly Come Dancing in 2020, also received messages from other former contestants and pro dancers.
Sara Davies wrote: "Sending tons of love xxx" while Kevin Clifton added: "Hope ur ok mate."
John Whaite, Nicola Adams, Emma Barton and Nadiya Bychkova all offered support, too.
