Yahoo News McDonald's new birthday menu includes three new desserts and return of fan-favourite burgers
A new McDonald's menu shakeup will see three "favourite" burgers make a comeback to UK restaurants later this month.
The place with the golden arches is popular with diners across the country, and while some signature staples are permanently on its menus, others will come and go. McDonald's bosses have confirmed some old favourites will be returning, as well as some brand new menu items.
It's all to do with a special date coming up. McDonald's UK celebrates its 50th birthday later this year, and is going big to mark the occasion.

As well as the return of the Double Big Mac, Double Big Mac with Bacon, and the McCrispy BBQ Smokehouse, there'll also be a "showstopping" new side, and three new desserts.
The donut has a strawberry flavoured filling, topped with a buttercream-flavoured icing and sprinkles, while the Milkybar Raspberry Ripple McFlurry features soft dairy ice cream swirled with mini Milkybar chocolate drops and topped with a sweet and sharp raspberry sauce.
The Munchies Cookie Dough McFlurry is made up of the same soft ice cream, but swirled with Munchies and topped with a caramel cookie dough sauce.
Cheesy Garlic Bread Dippers will also make their grand debut, with four mozzarella dippers flavoured with garlic and chives, in a ciabatta-style breadcrumb coating. Each dish comes with a rich tomato dip.
A McDonald's spokesperson also confirmed the McDonald's Chicken Sharebox and the 9 Chicken Selects Sharebox will be remaining on its menu. The new menu will be available from Wednesday, July 17, at all UK restaurants.
