McDonald's confirms two 'old favourites' will make a comeback this month

McDonald's chiefs have revealed that two "old favourites" are set to make a comeback on its UK menu this month.

The fast-food giant, famed for its iconic golden arches, is a hit with Brits nationwide. While some classic items are permanent fixtures, others pop in and out of the menu.

Burger aficionados can look forward to sinking their teeth into an all-new patty sensation. In anticipation of a "summer of sport", the Hat Trick burger is joining the line-up.

It boasts a triple threat of 100% beef patties, coupled with a duo of cheese slices, grilled onions, mustard, ketchup, all nestled within a shiny sesame seed bun. Expect to shell out roughly £5.89 for just the burger or £7.69 if you're up for a medium meal deal

A McDonald's spokesperson added: "It's also the season of sharing, so get ready to invite everyone over to welcome back the McDonald's Chicken Sharebox, 9 Chicken Selects Sharebox, and Mozzarella Bites with a Rich Tomato Dip".

New dipping sauces are also on the horizon, including an upgraded Garlic Mayo and a Sweet and Smoky BBQ, perfect companions for the chicken. Plus, there's buzz about a new Skittles McFlurry hitting the dessert tray.

Two "favourites" are poised for a return, as confirmed by McDonald's, just in time to kick off summer. These include the cool Iced Latte and the indulgent Galaxy Caramel McFlurry.

These fresh additions will grace McDonald's outlets across the UK from next Wednesday, May 29.
