After an absolute lifetime away from the stage as a four-piece, McFly announced last night that they are embarking on a four-city tour where they will be performing all five of their albums in their entirety.
This is literally everything that we ever dreamed of and more.
Tom Fletcher, Dougie Poynter, Harry Judd and Danny Jones are set to play three dates in London, Glasgow, Birmingham and Manchester in June, with each date being different as they alter their setlist to take fans on a trip down “Memory Lane”, as the boys would say.
On night one in each city, McFly will perform songs from their debut album ‘Room On The Third Floor’, night two will be tracks from 'Wonderland’ and 'Motion In The Ocean’, and night three will be tracks from 'Radio: ACTIVE’ and 'Above The Noise’.
Phwoar, we’re going to have to save our pocket money to make it to all three.
The boys have also swapped their usual arenas for intimate venues in a bid to get up, close and personal with the fans - who have been patiently waiting for McFly to go back to being McFly after they teamed up with Matt Willis and James Bourne back in 2013 to form McBusted.
We mean, does this mean that we should be expecting that much coveted album number six at some point soon?
A lot has changed since the last time McFly took to the road, with Tom’s wife Giovanna Fletcher revealing that the last time she watched the group she was pregnant with her now-two-year-old son, Buzz.
The couple have since welcomed baby Buddy and Harry also became a dad earlier this year to daughter Lola Rose.
Yet somehow it still feels like 2003.
Tickets for 'Anthology’ go on sale this Friday, April 29th.
