Mediterranean town a three hour flight from Bristol Airport is perfect summer destination

A picturesque Mediterranean coastal town, brimming with modern marinas, rich cultural history and abundant sunshine, has been added to the roster of destinations accessible from Bristol this year. Montenegro, often hailed as one of Europe's most stunning locations, is now directly reachable via flights from Bristol Airport between June and August, offering Bristolians a captivating choice for their summer getaways.

As of the time of writing, both Skyscanner and easyJet offer return flights from Bristol to the coastal town of Tivat in Montenegro. Skyscanner provides users with the ability to compare flight prices and currently lists the cheapest return fare to Tivat at the end of June at £127 per person.

Alternatively, on the easyJet website, holidaymakers can opt to purchase their flights separately or as part of a package deal inclusive of their hotel stay. Standalone flights are priced at £127 for a return journey from Bristol at the end of June, while package holidays, including a 7-night stay, commence at £635.

While thousands of Brits head to the Mediterranean country each year, this will be the first time they can fly direct from Bristol. So we've put together a list of things recommended for tourists between relaxing by the pool and meals at pretty restaurants.

One must visit place in Tivat is Porto Montenegro, a waterfront area home to a large marina full of superyachts, restaurants and beautiful boutiques. Take a stroll in the sunshine and take in the pretty coastal views, or stop for a bite to eat at one of the many classy restaurants.
