Supacell is the latest superhero drama to hit Netflix, boasting a stellar British cast that's sure to draw in viewers.

Imagine if Top Boy met The Avengers - that's the vibe of Supacell, where a bunch of regular south Londoners suddenly find themselves with superpowers. They must navigate their new abilities amidst everyday life and one man has the mission to unite them, reports the Express.

Who is in the cast of Supacell?

Michael Lasaki - Tosin Cole

Leading the pack as Michael Lasaki is Tosin Cole, tasked with rallying the newly empowered to "save the woman he loves".

Cole, familiar from his early days on Hollyoaks as Neil Cooper, has since graced our screens in House Party, had a stint in Star Wars: Episode VII - The Force Awakens, played Till, and became known as Ryan Sinclair in Doctor Who.

His most recent gig saw him in the Bob Marley biopic portraying Tyronne Downie, Marley's pianist.

Dionne - Adelayo Adedayo

Then there's Dionne, played by Adelayo Adedayo, Michael's girlfriend whose future death he witnesses, spurring him into action.

If Michael can get the superpowered crew together, he might just prevent Dionne's tragic fate.

Adedayo's acting chops include roles in Skins, The Bill, and Law and Order: UK. She's also been a hit in the sitcom Some Girls and the ITV2 series Timewasters.

She's also been nominated for a BAFTA for her role in the BBC One drama The Responder, which she starred in alongside Martin Freeman.

Ray - Eddie Marsan

As for Ray - little is known about this character as actor Eddie Marsan, who plays him, has had very little screen time in the trailer. But from what we do know, he's surrounded by armed guards.

Marsan is no stranger to the screen having appeared in The Pact, Ray Donovan, Snow White And The Huntsman and The Gentleman. He's also portrayed Amy Winehouse's father Mitch in the biopic about the singer, Back To Black.

Tazer - Josh Tedeku

Josh Tedeku plays Tazer - an individual with super powers, though we don't yet know what they are. What we do know is that he seems excited about his newfound abilities, describing them as a "game changer".

This would come as a surprise to some as Tedeku only began acting in 2019 but has since played roles in Moonhaven, Doctors, A Town Called Malice and several short films.

Sabrina - Nadine Mills

Meanwhile, Nadine Mills' character, nurse Sabrina, doesn't seem so thrilled about her new skills. We see her shouting, demanding that her powers be "gone".

Clips from the show reveal that she can move objects without actually touching them, as demonstrated when she shoves a man into a house from quite a distance. Mills has graced our screens before in The Strangers, The Pay Day, Sable Fable, and Sliced.

Andre - Eric Kofi-Abrefa

Eric Kofi-Abrefa plays Andre, a single dad whose main priority is supporting his teenage son financially. In a surprising discovery, he finds he has superhuman strength when he punches a wall, leaving behind a sizeable crack.

Kofi-Abrefa has starred in a number of major roles including the film Blue Story, series Harlots, Humans, Sherlock and The One; with one of his most notable roles being Lamar Silas in BMF.

Rodney - Calvin Demba

Calvin Demba portrays Rodney - arguably the most mischievous member of the group. Despite his friend's warnings against using his super speed abilities for personal advantage, Rodney is reluctant to get caught up in any drama, insisting that Michael's demands are "too much".

Coronation Street aficionados may recognise Calvin Demba from Scott Sabeka, as well as his roles in Youngers, Brotherhood, Life, The Rig and alongside Emilia Clarke in Last Christmas.

Spud - Giacomo Mancini

Spud, played by Giacomo Mancini, is Rodney's best mate who tries to caution him about the risks of his powers. However, the trailer shows Spud unconscious in a hospital bed sporting numerous facial injuries.

Mancini is primarily recognised for his role as Gem in the Channel 4-turned-Netflix drama Top Boy, and featuring appearances in Ripper Street and Orthodox.
