Yahoo News Meet Jenn Tran’s 25 ‘Bachelorette’ Contestants!
Jenn Tran is officially our next Bachelorette!!!!! And ABC wasted no time dropping the list of men competing for her heart. But before we get into it, FYI: Jenn spoke to host Jesse Palmer about what she’s looking for and dished that she wants a man with a “really big personality” who can “take it as much as they can dish it.” Oh, and she’s also a fan of “cheeky banter.”
“I hope I find my person, someone that I truly feel like is 100 percent my perfect match and someone who I’m compatible with, someone who he and I can have fun and also just feel like we’re each other’s person,” Jenn said before noting that she wants to walk away from the season engaged. 💍
Not only did we absolutely fall in love with Jenn this season and are beyond excited to watch her be the franchise’s next leading lady, but (!!!!) we’re also pumped about her making history as the first Asian American Bachelorette. As the Miami-based student told Jesse, “It’s honestly incredible. I feel so, so grateful and so honored to be the first Asian Bachelorette in this franchise.”
Jenn then went on to open up about not seeing Asian representation onscreen while she was growing up before adding, “Now, to be here today sitting in this position being like, ‘I am going to lead my own love story, I am going to be the main character in my story.’ I just can’t help but think of how many people I’m inspiring and how many lives I am changing.”
