Megan Fox Was by Machine Gun Kelly's Side at His Star-Studded Birthday Bash (Exclusive Source)

Megan Fox was present for Machine Gun Kelly's birthday celebration!

A source tells PEOPLE that Fox, 37, was by MGK's side as he celebrated his 34th birthday with a party at his home on Monday, April 22. Fox, who has been romantically attached to the musician — real name Colson Baker — since 2020, was seen walking around with MGK at the birthday party, the source says.

Other guests at MGK's birthday bash included Tiffany Haddish, Evan Ross, rapper Mod Sun and Amber Rose, who briefly held a relationship with MGK in 2015.

A source close to Fox and MGK told PEOPLE in March that the couple's relationship continues to experience bumps in the road. The pair announced their engagement in January 2022, but Fox acknowledged that she and MGK called that engagement off in 2023 during her appearance on the Call Her Daddy podcast in March.

"One day they’re up, the next they’re down," the source said at the time. "That intensity is still there nearly four years into their relationship, but that's not necessarily 'healthy.' "

"There are still a ton of trust issues between them and it’s very toxic," the source added. "They can’t stay away from each other and there’s a lot of history there, but they also don’t know how to be in a healthy relationship. They’ll be totally fine, then days later get into a huge blowout fight and not talk for weeks, but then give in and be all lovey-dovey again."

Fox declined to go into detail about the status of her relationship with MGK during that Call Her Daddy appearance. "What I can say, that [he is] what I refer to as being my twin soul, and there will always be a tether to him, no matter what. I can't say for sure what the capacity will be, but I will always be connected to him somehow," she said at the time. "Beyond that, I'm not willing to explain."

MGK shared a throwback photo of himself as a child appearing to shed a tear during a birthday celebration to Instagram on April 22. "34 years a sadboy 🎂 that tear is way too big for my eye 🤣😂," he wrote in the caption to that photo. "earth day birthday / lets all re-connect with nature / I love you."

He also shared what appeared to be a preview of his birthday party to his Instagram Stories, showing a quick video of balloons and other decorations in a drained below-ground pool. "think ima have to throw a little function 2nite," he wrote alongside that video.
