Meghan Markle wore this A-list-approved denim brand to the Invictus Games two years running

At the 2017 Invictus Games in Toronto, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry made their first public debut as a couple.

Fast forward twelve months and the now married couple attended their second Invictus Games in Sydney over the weekend as part of their first official royal tour, which commenced shortly after it was announced that the newlyweds are also expecting their first child in spring 2019.

Although a lot has changed, some things haven’t - one being Meghan’s go-to brand for jeans.

While it was her prophetic 'Husband Shirt' that hit headlines at the 2017 Invictus Games, fashion fans were also quick to uncover the brand behind the actress's perfect distressed jeans.

The answer? LA-based brand Mother Denim, which had remained relatively under the radar. Thanks, though, to the new duchess, the denim brand is a secret no more, especially as she continues to champion the brand in her royal life.

On day five of their royal tour Meghan arrived at the first day of the 2018 Invictus Games wearing a pair of Mother Denim jeans for a second year running.

In contrast to the previous year's distressed blue style, this year Meghan opted for a smarter black pair called The Looker Not Guilty jeans which retail for $196 (£150).

By the looks of things Meghan has worn them several times on the Australian leg of the tour - making them maternity wear-approved.

Ever since Meghan shined a spotlight on the American denim brand, it has been easy to spot the A-list approved jeans in other stylish star's wardrobes (and Instagram feeds).

You name a celebrity and they’ve worn them: the Kardashians? Check. The Hadids? Of course.

Jourdan Dunn, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Mila Kunis, Emma Roberts and Kristen Stewart are also all firm fans of the brand, wearing them on several occasions. Meanwhile, Miranda Kerr loves them so much she designed a capsule collection for them in 2017.

With so many options to choose from, it's easy to see why so many celebs have made Mother Denim a staple in their off-duty looks. From their perfectly form-fitting skinny jeans to distressed high-rises and funky ruffled flares, the brand has every pair of jeans you could ever want.
