“Scary Spice” sported a surprisingly affordable getup for the spooky festivities: a Victoria Beckham mask while wielding a giant axe.
The singer took to Instagram on Oct. 31 to share a picture of the costume she wore at Heidi Klum’s annual party in New York City, writing: “NY Halloween party is ON.”
But it’s what was written on the axe that will come as devastating news to Spice Girls fans.
Printed on the fake blade was a clear dig at Posh Spice: “NO I AM NOT GOING ON TOUR.”

In February, all five band members reunited when Emma Bunton (Baby Spice) shared a picture of them together and promised a “spicy” future, with Posh included.
In August, Mel B even quashed claims from Beckham that the band wouldn’t be creating music together, stating: “We’re are going to be doing performances together, for sure.”
She also reassured fans on the Late Late Show With James Corden in September that a tour was “100 percent happening.”
She revealed that three of the girls would be joining her on the tour, but when asked if Beckham would be taking part, she replied: “Well, we’ll see about that one.”
But after Mel B’s latest shot at Beckham, the possibility of the whole band going on tour together now seems unlikely.
Perhaps Baby, Ginger, Scary, and Sporty will have a more positive announcement to make when the four of them reunite for the U.K.’s Jonathan Ross Show on Saturday, Nov. 10. At the moment, it’s unknown what they’ll be talking about.
