Merseyside police seize Britain's most dangerous gun
Merseyside Police have Britain’s most dangerous gun.
The Beretta 9000S self-loading pistol has been used in 19 shootings in the past seven years, more than any other known gun in the UK, said officers.
Police called it “the most criminally used firearm in Britain” during a court hearing, reported the Guardian.
The gun was found during an investigation into a shooting in Kirkby where a gunman opened fire on a vehicle.

It was found at the home of 24-year-old Adam Bigley following a raid.
He subsequently Bigley admitted possession of a prohibited firearm and ammunition without a firearm certificate.
Earlier this week he was sentenced to six years and nine months in jail.
Bigley’s DNA, along with that of at least three others, was found on the gun. However his lawyer claimed he had the gun for just one day and was hiding it for the owner.
Sentencing Bigley, Judge Norman Wright said : “It is disquieting to know that this particular firearm had been used on 19 previous occasions.”
The gun find comes amid a spike in such crime on Merseyside.
This year there have been 60 firearms incidents in Merseyside. Three people died and there were 26 injuries.
